GAJAR HALWA

INGREDIENTS

Carrots - 8 - 10 nos

Sugar - 2 cups

Milk - 8 - 10 cups

Mawa - 2 cups

Cardamom powder - 1 tbsp

Food colour / Saffron - a pinch of them

Dry fruits - 1 cup

Ghee - 1 tbsp

PREPARATION

Wash and peel off the carrots and grate them .

 

Take a deep pan and add the grated carrot to the milk .Add cardmom powder to the milk add sugar and on a medium flame cook for about 40 min .

Once the carrot is cooked andlittle milk is left in the pan, add mawa and mix well .

Cook for 15 min . When it comes closer , add dry fruits and remove from flame .

Serve hot or chilled decorating with nuts.
