CAULIFLOWER CURRY

INGREDIENTS

 

  • Cauliflower - 1 no
  • Onions - 2 nos
  • Greenchillies - 5 - 6 nos
  • Cashewnuts - 1 cup
  • Redchilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves - 10 nos
  • Mustard -1/2 tsp
  • Bay leaves - 2 nos
  • Cardamom - 4 nos
  • Cloves - 2 nos
  • Garlic paste - 1 tbsp

PREPARATION

 

 

 

  • Wash and cut the cauliflower and onions and microwave cook them for 10 min.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds once they sizzle and fry the bay leaves , cloves , cardamom and garlic paste to golden brown .
  • Add the cooked vegetables and fry for 5 min.
  • Grind the cashewnuts along with salt , redchillipowder and turmeric into powder and make a fine paste adding water.
  • Add this paste to the curry and cook for 5 min .
  • Serve hot with rice , chapathi or poori ..
  • Cooking time - 20 min , Serving size - 4 nos
