PESARAPAPPU PULUSU
INGREDIENTS
- Pesarapappu -2 cups
- Tamarind puree - 1 tsp
- Onions - 2 nos
- Beans - 1 cup
- Water - 4 cups
- Salt - 2 tsp
- Cumin -1 tbsp
- Mustard -1 tbsp
- Curry leaves - 10 min
- Asfoetida - 1/4 tsp
- Oil - 1tbsp
PREPARATION
- Cut beans and onions length wise and along with moong dal pressure cook .
- Heat oil and put tadka add asfoetida , curry leaves and red chillies fry them to red .
- Add the cooked vegetables and fry for a while.
- Mix the tamarind puree to water and add it to the tadka and vegetables.
- Add turmeric and salt and bring the water to boil.
- Now transfer the dal to the water and boil for 5 - 10 min.
- Serve hot with rice ..
- Preparation - 20min. Serves - 5 - 6 persons.
