DONDAKAI / TINDORA CURRY
INGREDIENTS
- Dondakaya - 20 - 25 nos
- Besan - 1 cup
- Coriander powder -2 tbsp
- Dry grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- Redchillipowder- 2 tsp
- Salt- 2 tsp
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Mustard -1 tsp
- Cumin - 1 tbsp
- Uraddal - 1tsp
- Chanadal - 1 tsp
PREPARATION
- Wash and cut dondakaya as shown in the pic. Microwave cook for 15 min.
- Heat oil in a pan and put tadka and add the cooked dondakaya to it.
- Fry to golden red .
- Mix besan with coriander powder , turmeric, redchillipowder , salt , coconut powder with 1 tbsp of oil .
- Now add the powder to the dondakaya pieces well fried and mix well.
- Cook for 5 min and remove from flame.
- Serves good with rice..and chapathi ..or roti..
- Serving size - 4 - 5 persons. Cooking time 30min.
- Cook on medium flame…
