DONDAKAI / TINDORA CURRY

INGREDIENTS

  • Dondakaya - 20 - 25 nos
  • Besan - 1 cup
  • Coriander powder -2 tbsp
  • Dry grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Redchillipowder- 2 tsp
  • Salt- 2 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Mustard -1 tsp
  • Cumin - 1 tbsp
  • Uraddal - 1tsp
  • Chanadal - 1 tsp

PREPARATION

 

  • Wash and cut dondakaya as shown in the pic. Microwave cook for 15 min.
  • Heat oil in a pan and put tadka and add the cooked dondakaya to it.
  • Fry to golden red .
  • Mix besan with coriander powder , turmeric, redchillipowder , salt , coconut powder with 1 tbsp of oil .
  • Now add the powder to the dondakaya pieces well fried and mix well.
  • Cook for 5 min and remove from flame.
  • Serves good with rice..and chapathi ..or roti..
  • Serving size - 4 - 5 persons. Cooking time 30min.
  • Cook on medium flame…
