MIRCHI KA SALAN

INGREDIENTS

  • MIRCHI - 10 NOS
  • GROUND NUTS - 1 CUP
  • SESAME SEEDS - 1 CUP
  • GRATED (DRY)COCONUT - 1 CUP
  • TAMARIND PUREE - 1 TBSP
  • SALT-2 TBSP
  • ONIONS - 2 NOS
  • POPPY SEEDS - 1/2 CUP
  • GINGER GARLIC PASTE - 2 TBSP( 1 TBSP EA)
  • CUMIN - 2TBSP
  • SHAHZEERA - 2TBSP
  • CURRY LEAVES - 10 NOS
  • OIL - 2 TBSP
  • CINNAMON STICKS - 2 NOS
  • CORIANDER SEEDS - 1/2CUP
  • FOOD COLOR YELLOW - 1/4 TSP

PREPARATION

           

  • WASH AND MAKE AN INCISION ON  THE CHILLIES LENGTHWISE IN THE CENTER .
  • ROAST  GROUNDNUTS , COCONUT POWDER,CORIANDER SEEDS, SESAME SEEDS. POPPY SEEDS ,CINNAMON STICKS , CUMIN , SHAHZEERA 1 TBSP EA AND  ALLOW TO COOL COMPLETELY.
  • HEAT OIL AND ADD CUMIN AND SHAHZEERA ANND CURRY LEAVES AND FRY THE GREENCHILLIES TO GOLDEN RED.
  • MAKE A GRAVY OF THE INGREDIENTS ( GRIND INTO A FINE PASTE ADDING SALTAND FOOD COLOR) ADD TAMARIND PUREE ALSO.
  • POUR THE GRAVY ON THE CHILLIES AND COOK FOR 5 MIN.
  • SERVE HOT WITH ANY RICE ITEM IT SERVES EXCELLENT .
  • SERVING SIZE - 6 PERSONS  , PREPARATION TIME  - 30 MIN.

    Hi Neeharika , Hru ? Seems to be long … Anyways I used the long mirchi which we use for making mirchi bajji .. It came out well.
