GRAPE TOMATO CURRY
INGREDIENTS
- GRAPE TOMATOES - 1 PC
- GROUNDNUTS - 2 TBSP
- CORIANDER SEEDS - 2 TBSP
- CASHEWNUTS - 2 TBSP
- SHAHZEERA - 2 TBSP
- GREEN CHILLIES - 5 - 6 NOS
- CUMIN - 1 TBSP
- SALT - 11/2 TBSP
- TURMERIC - 1/4 TSP
- OIL -1 TBSP
- ONION - 1 NO
- POPPY SEEDS - 2 TBSP
PREPARATION
- WASH AND KEEP GRAPE TOMATOES ASIDE.
- ROAST GROUNDNUTS, CASHEWNUTS,CORIANDER SEEDS, SHAHZEERA AND POPPY SEEDS FOR 10 MIN.
- THEN ADD CHOPPED ONION AND 2 GREEN CHILLIES TO IT.
- ROAST THEM FOR 10 MIN ADDING 1 TBSP OF OIL AND ONCE THE RAW SMELL OF THE INGREDINTS IS GONE , ADD SALT AND TURMERIC ,REMOVE FROM FLAME AND ALLOW TO COOL COMPLETELY .
- NOW IN 1 TBSP OF OIL , ADD CUMIN ONCE IT SIZZLES , ADD TOMATOES AND LEFT OVER CHILLIES AND FRY FOR 5 MIN.
- ONCE THE GRAVY INGREDIENTS COOL , GRIND THEM INTO A FINE PASTE.
- TRANSFER THE GRAVY ON TO THE TOMATOES AND SAUTE FOR 5 MIN.
- SERVE HOT WITH RICE OR CHAPATHI OR ROTI OR POORI.
- PREPARATION TIME - 25 MIN , SERVES - 6 -1 0 PERSONS.
- COOK ON MEDIUM FLAME ..
