MIXED VEGETABLE FRIED RICE

INGREDIENTS

  • CAULIFLOWER - 1/2 CUP
  • BASMATHI RICE - 5 CUPS
  • CABBAGE - 1/2 CUP
  • BEANS - 1/2 CUP
  • POTATOES - 1/2 CUP
  • CARROT - 1/2 CUP
  • PEAS - 1/2 CUP
  • CAPSICUM - 1 NO
  • CORIANDER -1/4 BUNCH
  • MINT - 1/4 BUNCH
  • CLOVES - 1 TSP
  • CARDMOM - 1 TSP
  • BAY LEAVES - 2 NOS
  • CINNAMON STICKS - 3 NOS
  • SHAHZEEERA - 1 TSP
  • CUMIN - 1 TSP
  • BIRYANI FLOWER // JAVENTRI - 1 TSP
  • VINEGAR- 1 CUP
  • TOMATO SAUCE - FOR DECORATION
  • SALT - 2 TBSP
  • OIL - 2 TBSP
  • GINGERGARLIC PASTE - 2 TBSP

PREPARATION

 

  • WASH ALL THE VEGETABLES AND SET ASIDE .
  • HEAT OIL IN A PAN AND FRY THE DRY MASALA , MINT AND THEN FRY GINGER GARLIC PASTE .
  • NOW ADD THE VEGETABLES AND FRY FOR A WHILE. THEN ADD RICE .
  • ADD SALT AND VINEGAR AND FRY WELL .
  • ADD WATER AND TRANSFER INTO RICE COOKER AND COOK FOR 30 MIN.
  • SERVE HOT WITH TOMATO SAUCE AND MIRCHI KA SALAN .. OR CURD RAITHA
  • SERVES - 6 PERSONS PREPARATION TIME - 40MIN.

    What is biryani flower?any name for it?

    Its actually Javentri … U get it in Indian grocery ..
