TOMATO PULUSU
INGREDIENTS
- Tomatoes - 6 nos
- Onions - 5 nos
- Green chillies - 6nos
- Tamarind puree - 11/2 tsp
- Oil - 1tsp
- Curry leaves - 10 nos
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek - 1 tsp
- Corinader leaves - 1/4 bunch
- Salt - 1 1/2 tsp
- Jaggery - 2 cubes / 2 tbsp
- Redchillies - 1 no
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
PREPARATION
- Wash and cut tomatoes into four pieces each.Chop onions also in the same way .
- Heat oil in a pan and put tadka .
- Add onions and green chillies and fry them to golden brown.
- Then add tomatoes and mix well. Cook till they become soft .
- Now add tamarindpuree to 2 cus of water and mix well.
- Pour it over the tomatoes and onions and cook for about 15min.
- Once cooked , add salt , turmeric and jaggery and mix well.
- Now add curry leaves and chopped coriander .
- Bring to boil and put off the flame.
- Preparation time - 30 min. Serving size - 6 persons
- Cook on medium flame..
