BACCHALI KURA PULUSU
INGREDIENTS
- Bacchali kura - 2-3 bunches
- Tamarind puree - 1tsp
- Salt - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric - a pinch
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek - 1 tsp
- Redchilli powder - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 5 nos
- Water - 3 cups
- Besan /chanadal powder - 2 tbsp
- Green chillies - 4 nos
- Asfoetida - 1/4 tsp
PREPARATION
- Wash and chop bacchali kura into fine pieces .
- Heat oil in a pan and and put tadka and add asfoetida .
- Now add the chopped pieces of bacchali kura and green chillies and mix well.
- Cook for 5 min and add tamarind puree to three cups of water .
- Add the tamarind water to the bacchali kura and mix well.
- Now add salt, turmeric , redchilli powder .
- Add besan to two spoons of water and add to the pulusu.
- Mix well and a cube of jaggery to it.
- Now let it boil for a while and put off the flame.
