STUFFED BRINJAL CURRY ( jUST aNOTHER vERSION)
INGREDIENTS
- Brinjals - violet long - 1/2 lb
- Onion - 1 no
- Redchillies - handful
- Chanadal - 1/2 cup
- Urad dal - 1/2 cup
- Coriander seeds - 1/2 cup
- Salt - 2tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
PREPARATION
- Wash and cut brinjals in a way that you can stuff it across in the center.
- Heat a tbsp of oil and fry chanadal , urad dal , coriander and redchillies to golden red.
- Then add chopped onion and fry to golden red.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely .
- Grind the mix into a fine paste adding salt and water in sparing quantity.
- Stuff the brinjals with this and heat a pan with a tbsp of oil .
- Cook the brinjals to soft about 15min closing with a plate pouring little water on the plate.
- Once cooked serve hot with rice.
- Serving size - 6 persons Preparation time - 30 - 40 min.

I came across your blog today and I just finished reading entire stuff.
I can definitely say you are from godavari districts or from Krishna District by your way of cooking.
Curry meeda neella moota pettadam chala mandiki teliyadu ippudu.
I can see your mothers influence on you . Ma amma kuda ilane vanta chesedi.
Anyway…I also cook the same u cook. But we dont use onion and Garlic in everything like you. Mee handful of red mirchi chuste..mana iddari type oke laga undi.

Thanks a lot for visiting my site … I agree with you and my parents are from godavari and inlaws from krishna .. So you are very true ..
Amma influence chala undi .. in everything in fact .. I want my daughter and son also to learn the same thing from me …
I am glad that there is someone who cooks like me ..

Hope you and your family are doing well.
I have a request. The recipes in your blog are very delicious which can be made at home for our family. (Many Recipes can be prepared without Masala.) We will not get these in restuarants.
So in 2011 Please post atleast one Recipe in a month.
