GRATED MANGO CHUTNEY // MAMIDIKAYA TURUMU PACCHADI
- Raw Mangoes - 4
- Fenugreek powder - 2 tsp
- Mustard powder -1tsp
- Redchilli powder - 5 tbsp
- Salt - 5 tbsp
- Curry leaves - 10 nos
- Mustard - 1 tbsp
- Cumin- 1tbsp
- Garlic - 4 pods
- Redchillies - 4 - 5 nos
- Oil - 2 cups
- Asfoetida - 1/4 tsp
- Uraddal - 1 tsp
- Amchur powder - 2 tbsp
PREPARATION
- Wash and peel off mangoes and grate them as shown.
- Add mustard powder, fenugreek powder , red chilli powder , salt and mix them with a cup of oil .
- Heat the remaining oil in a pan and put tadka and add, chopped garlic, asfoetida and redchillies with curry leaves.
- Add this tadka to the chutney and mix well.
- Serve with hot rice …
- Preparation time 15 min. Serves 4 persons for about 5 days .
- Needs to be refrigerated.
