GRATED MANGO CHUTNEY // MAMIDIKAYA TURUMU PACCHADI

INGREDIENTS

  • Raw Mangoes - 4
  • Fenugreek powder - 2 tsp
  • Mustard powder -1tsp
  • Redchilli powder -  5 tbsp
  • Salt - 5 tbsp
  • Curry leaves - 10 nos
  • Mustard - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin- 1tbsp
  • Garlic - 4 pods
  • Redchillies - 4 - 5 nos
  • Oil - 2 cups
  • Asfoetida - 1/4 tsp
  • Uraddal - 1 tsp
  • Amchur powder - 2 tbsp

PREPARATION

  

  • Wash and peel  off mangoes and grate them as shown.
  • Add mustard powder, fenugreek powder , red chilli powder , salt and mix them with a cup of oil .
  • Heat the remaining  oil in a pan and put tadka and add, chopped garlic, asfoetida and redchillies with curry leaves.
  • Add this tadka to the chutney and mix well.
  • Serve with hot rice …
  • Preparation time 15 min. Serves 4 persons for about 5 days .
  • Needs to be refrigerated.
