CAPSICUM GRAVY

INGREDIENTS

  • Capsicum - 4 nos
  • Green chillies -4nos
  • Sesame seeds - 1 cup
  • Cashewnuts - 1 cup
  • Drygratedcoconut powder - 1  cup
  • Poppy seeds  - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - 11/2 tsp
  • Redchilli powder -  1 tsp
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Gingergarlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp

PREPARATION

  • Wash and cut the capsicum to 4 pieces length wise.
  • Heat oil in  a pan and fry the capsicum pieces and green chillies  .
  • Grind cashewnuts , sesame seeds , dry grated coconut ,poppy seeds .
  • Add chilli powder , turmeric and salt along with gingergarlic paste and grind to a powder .
  • It is semi solid as the ginger garlic paste has liquid .
  • Add the paste to the capsicum pieces and cook for 10 min.
  • Serve hot woth Poori or chapathi or rice..
  • Preparation time - 30 min . Serving sizxe - 5 -6 persons.
