CAPSICUM GRAVY
INGREDIENTS
- Capsicum - 4 nos
- Green chillies -4nos
- Sesame seeds - 1 cup
- Cashewnuts - 1 cup
- Drygratedcoconut powder - 1 cup
- Poppy seeds - 1/2 cup
- Salt - 11/2 tsp
- Redchilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- Gingergarlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
PREPARATION
- Wash and cut the capsicum to 4 pieces length wise.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the capsicum pieces and green chillies .
- Grind cashewnuts , sesame seeds , dry grated coconut ,poppy seeds .
- Add chilli powder , turmeric and salt along with gingergarlic paste and grind to a powder .
- It is semi solid as the ginger garlic paste has liquid .
- Add the paste to the capsicum pieces and cook for 10 min.
- Serve hot woth Poori or chapathi or rice..
- Preparation time - 30 min . Serving sizxe - 5 -6 persons.
