KADDOO KA KHEER

INGREDIENTS

 

  • KADDOO - 1 MEDIUM SIZED
  • MILK - 11/2L
  • KHOYA - 300 GMS
  • CARDAMOM - 3 - 4 NOS
  • CASHEWS - FOR GARNISHING
  • SUGAR - 500 GMS

PREPARATION

     

  •  WASH THE KADDOO AND PEEL IT OFF.
  • GRATE IT AND TRANSFER IT INTO 11/2L OF MILK.
  • ADD CARDAMOM POWDER AND BOIL IT FOR ABOUT 40 MIN ON MEDIUM FLAME.
  • KADDO BECOMES SOFT KEEP MASHING .. MILK BECOMES  THICK ON BOILING.
  • THEN ADD SUGAR AND MIX WELL. NOW GRATE THE KHOYA AND ADD IT TO THE KHEER.
  • COOK FOR ABOUT 15 MIN NOW .
  • GARNISH WITH CASHEWNUTS AND SERVE CHILLED OR HOT.
  • PREPARATION TIME - 1 HR. SERVES - 10 PERSONS.

    I bought it from grocery … I will let u know the khoya recipe soon… I have to try it out …
