NUVVULANNAM // SESAME RICE
INGREDIENTS
- Basmathi rice - 2 cups
- Sesame seeds - 1 cup
- Ghee - 4 tbsp
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 5 - 6 nos
- Redchillies - 3 nos
- Salt - 11/2 tsp
PREPARATION
- Cook basmathi rice in a rice cooker.
- Heat a tbsp of ghee and fry sesame to golden brown.
- Heat the remaining ghee and put tadka .
- Now add rice mix well then add sesame seeds , salt and red chilli powder.
- Mix well and cook for 10 min.
- Serve hot with chana masala or sambhar..
- Preparation time - 40 min , Serviong size - 4 persons
