CHICKPEA and SPINACH CURRY
- Chick peas - 1 pack
- Spinach - 1 pack
- Salt - 1tsp
- Turmeric - 1/4tsp
- Garam Masala - 1tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Cumin - 1/2 tsp
- Redchilli powder - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon - 2 small sticks
PREPARATION
- Soak chick peas overnight and in the morning pressure cook them for4 whistles.
- Wash and chop spinach to fine pieces.
- Heat oil and fry cumin , chopped garlic and cinnamon sticks.
- Add spinach and cook to soft and then add chick peas and keep mashing and mixing well…
- Then add salt , garam masala and redchilli powder.
- Mix well add 1/2cup of water. Cook for 10 mins.
- Serve with poori or chapathi or rice…
- Preparation time - 45 min. Serving size - 6 persons..
